Pope Francis – Rest in Peace
The prayer service held on 24th April at 10:30 a.m. in the school hall of St. Augustine’s High School was offered in loving memory of Pope Francis, whose recent passing has left a deep void in the hearts of millions. His life of humility, compassion, and unwavering faith continues to inspire people across the globe. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
The service commenced with the devotional song "Devachya Mandiri Chala," setting a reverent and prayerful atmosphere.
This was followed by an introduction and an opening prayer. A reflective video accompanied the prayer song, encouraging silent meditation and connection.
Petitions were then offered for various intentions, after which the hymn "Dev Mazha Mendhapal" was sung. A meaningful video was then presented, followed by the inspirational song "Saashvat Jeevan."
The service concluded with a short reflection and the final hymn "Premal Jyoti."
A moment of silence was also observed in tribute to the brave individuals who lost their lives in the Pehelgam, Kashmir attack. All staff members stood in respectful silence for one minute.
The prayer service was a time of heartfelt unity, remembrance, and spiritual reflection.
